Job summary

Penn State's Smeal Business Career Center seeks a part-time career coach/graduate assistant to guide approximately 250 rising junior business students this summer. You will help with resume writing and career preparation before the fall semester, combining remote and some in-person coaching.

Preference given to candidates with experience working with students or pursuing a graduate degree in HR and Employer Relations, Higher Education Administration, or Counselor Education.

Qualifications

• Preference given to those with a background working with students.
• Graduate degree in HR and Employer Relations, Higher Education Administration, or Counselor Education preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise approximately 250 rising junior business students this summer.

• Work in a hybrid position with some in-person coaching hours.
