Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse to support the CCP Now program in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The RN will assist with cardiac diagnostics, patient intake, and coordination under provider direction.

Ideal candidates hold an active PA RN license, BSN, BLS/ACLS, and at least two years of cardiology experience. Proficiency with EMR and strong multitasking skills are preferred, with emphasis on patient safety and education.

Qualifications

• Must have a current RN license (PA) and BSN.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in cardiology and outpatient settings preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and strong multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and perform cardiac diagnostic testing.
• Conduct patient intake, vital signs, medical history, and education.
• Monitor patients during testing and respond to emergencies.
• Administer medications and IVs for diagnostic procedures.
• Document interactions accurately in the EMR and ensure confidentiality.
• Coordinate clinical activities and respond to patient inquiries.
• Support providers and staff across clinical areas and participate in process improvements.
