Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Part Time Clinical Consultant (PTCC) to support ventricular medical devices and patient education across hospital settings, including ICU, OR, and Cath Lab. The role emphasizes on-call case support, rounds, and collaboration with the Clinical Support Center.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN/APP with CICU/CVICU or Cath Lab experience, capable of providing live field support and weekend availability, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN)/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license strongly preferred or relevant experience.
• 3+ years of clinical background in CICU/CVICU/CVOR or Cath Lab; CVICU experience highly preferred.
• Some industry experience preferred but not required.
• Significant experience with ventricular medical devices (minimum of 10 cases/patients supported).
• Must provide a minimum of 2 days of live field support (case support, patient rounding, education) with 5 days total per month.
• Availability must include 1 weekend per month.
• Ability to work on weekends, nights, holidays as well as weekdays.
• Ability to work at other hospitals aside from base location.
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
• Up-to-date immunizations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and demonstrate knowledge of products/therapies and understand their applications.
• Improve patient outcomes by delivering ventricular medical device education in ICU, OR, and Cath Lab.
• Provide ventricular device case support, including on-call support.
• Complete proactive rounds for patients and provide assistance.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center for ongoing support and maintain clinical competency; continual learning and education.
• Some travel may be needed.
