Job summary

The CIMA Group LLC is seeking a part-time Brand Ambassador to support marketing and sales in the Brooklyn/Queens territory. You will promote all company brands, educate dispensaries and budtenders, and coordinate marketing activities, merchandizing, and events.

You should live in the territory with prior cannabis or retail brand experience. A reliable vehicle and willingness to work evenings/weekends are required. Compensation is hourly, with prorated PTO, sick, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Previous cannabis industry experience and/or related retail experience.
• Previous customer service or event experience.
• Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Previous brand ambassador experience.
• Proven working experience in brand ambassadorship, marketing, or merchandising a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and provide regular presence in dispensaries with the marketing and sales team.
• Educate, engage, and inspire budtenders and staff about products and promotions.
• Plan and attend customer and account appreciation events.
• Coordinate brand events with partner and foundation initiatives.
• Maintain display stock and distribute marketing materials per direction.
• Capture competitive information and report insights.
• Execute launch materials and visual merchandising at store level.
• Ensure proper placement of POP materials to grow share of shelf.
• Develop store layout plans and manage shelves and inventory.
• Build strong relationships with in-store personnel.
• Identify opportunities and report improvements and competition activity.
• Submit weekly recaps with photos of visits and displays.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and trends.
