Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
  • Advocate for excellent customer care in cannabis retail.
  • Assist customers and patients in understanding cannabis products and their uses for wellness.
  • Build rapport with repeat customers to encourage loyalty.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Provide information on various cannabis products, types, methods, and efficacy (note: not medical advice).
  • Engage in ongoing cannabis education and training.
  • Support managers and team members as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace.
  • Ensure online orders are accurate before pickup.
  • Comply with all local and state regulations regarding cannabis sales.
  • Stock and display inventory appropriately.
  • Complete transactions accurately and update inventory systems such as METRC or BioTrack.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
  • Must be 21 or older and comply with all regulations.
  • Pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary state badges.
  • Interest in learning about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product use.
  • Proficiency with office equipment and software (Word, Excel, email).
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
Physical and Mental Demands

This role requires standing for up to 90% of the time, occasional lifting of packages up to 20 lbs, and the ability to observe and focus closely. The environment is a retail setting with moderate noise levels. The role demands good hearing and vision abilities. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to meet these requirements.
