Job summary

UIWtv Program Director oversees programming of the UIWtv station, manages personnel, and reviews all stories and programs. The PD conducts rehearsals and assists in pre-production for live programs, reporting to the COMM / FILM Faculty, Senior Instructor.

Qualifications include the ability to shoot, write, and edit news packages; knowledge of Premiere Pro and camera equipment; and a collaborative, mentoring approach with students from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

Ability to shoot, write, and edit News Packages and VO/ SOTS.
Knowledge of Premiere Pro, camera equipment, and strong writing skills.
Team player with a willingness to help and mentor students.
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.

Responsibilities

Oversee programming of the UIWtv station and manage daily operations.
Promote education while serving the university as a reliable campus news source.
Manage personnel and oversee all stories and programs related to UIWtv.
Conduct rehearsals and assist in pre-production for live programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
