Job summary

Livingstone College is seeking a Part-Time Shuttle Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for students and authorized passengers on campus and nearby locations. You will operate College vehicles, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain logs and vehicle condition.

The role requires a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and special events, with emphasis on punctuality, customer service, and professionalism in a college environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license for vehicle type.
• Ability to meet NC and federal licensing requirements (CDL and passenger endorsement when applicable).
• Clear driving record and successful background checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students and authorized passengers on campus and off-campus routes.
• Operate College vehicles according to safety requirements and procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Maintain transportation logs and incident reports.
• Provide courteous, student-centered service and communicate delays or issues to supervisor.
