Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Deterrence in Asheville, NC. You will monitor campus locations, deter security incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff and visitors. Roles include shift flexibility and a supportive team environment.

As a part-time officer, you will engage in reporting, maintain a visible presence, and collaborate with campus stakeholders while adhering to safety and security protocols.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors and campus guests while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations and other events calmly per site protocols.
