This non-sworn, unarmed position requires rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency closures; candidates must meet background checks and licensing requirements and be prepared to work in varied weather

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in campus security or related field.
• Valid NC driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Background check and College employment requirements met.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security to promote a safe campus.
• Patrol buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; coordinate with responders.
• Enforce policies and parking regulations; document incidents.
• Assist with emergencies, events, and evacuations as assigned.
• Provide courteous information and directions to campus community.
