Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Enhanced Part Time Security Officer for University City, Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on access control at a leading university campus with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $17.25 per hour, with a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth. The position emphasizes customer service, incident response, and routine campus patrols.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence areas, parking locations, and surrounding perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support access-control procedures, verifying credentials or visitor authorization as directed by site policy.
• Communicate with campus personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal supervision regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters.
