Job summary

The guard will liaise with the sheriff's office, assist with safety training, and help enforce school policies to ensure a secure, faith-based learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a current D&G Security Guard license.
• Experience in security or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol school grounds to prevent unauthorized access and maintain safety.
• Support staff with ALICE training and campus response reviews.
• Assist administration with crisis management plan updates.
• Consult with administration and make safety recommendations.
• Assist with threat assessments upon request from administration.
• Liaison to/from Doral Sheriff’s Office and coordinate annual risk assessment.
• Manage and monitor all campus entrances; verify visitor identities and issue badges.
• Respond quickly to emergencies such as fires, disasters, medical incidents, or breaches.
