Job summary

Colorado Mountain College is seeking a part-time Campus Safety and Security Officer to protect students, staff and property on campus. The role includes patrolling buildings and grounds, writing incident reports, and enforcing campus policies.

Evening shifts and weekend work may be required, with a competitive wage and benefits. The position is limited to 28 hours per week, with a hiring rate of $19.91 per hour and a wage progression plan.

• Enforce campus safety policies and procedures.
• Regularly inspect campus facilities and grounds.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as first responder to campus emergencies, medical and criminal threats.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures across campus.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of buildings and grounds.
• Monitor parking lots and direct traffic as needed.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate with supervision.
