Responsibilities

• Issue traffic citations and arrest warrants.
• Respond to calls regarding disputes and advise on appropriate behavior.
• Arrest and transport to city jail as needed.
• Patrol assigned area and investigate incidents.
• Prepare reports on infractions of laws and university regulations.
• Direct traffic and enforce parking rules.
• Respond to emergencies and assist local police when required.
• Provide crowd and traffic control during events.
• Conduct crime prevention and security programs; operate police network computers.
• Serve as a first responder in crisis situations.
