Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer for campus patrol at a York, PA site. This role provides reliable hours with an anchor shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $18.50 per hour with a six-month anchor shift commitment and potential to scale to up to 40 hours per week by taking extra shifts at multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
