STgenetics is seeking a Part-Time Calf Feeder in Ohio to support health, growth, and well-being of young livestock. You will feed calves, monitor health, sanitize housing, and maintain records in a fast-paced farm setting.

Ideal candidates have a detail-oriented mindset, reliability, and comfort around livestock. The role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous livestock or agricultural experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal care.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable working around livestock and farm equipment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and distribute milk, feed, water, and supplements according to feeding schedules.
• Monitor calves daily for signs of illness, injury, or abnormal behavior and report concerns.
• Clean and sanitize calf housing, feeding equipment, and work areas.
• Assist with handling, moving, and sorting calves as needed.
• Maintain accurate feeding and animal care records.
• Monitor feed and supply inventory and notify management of shortages.
• Follow company biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with general farm maintenance and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
