Pay Range:

Summary

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Ensures adherence to all production and display guidelines regarding bakery products to promote sales opportunities. Operates within all sanitation guidelines and procedures set by the company and state.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
2. Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers upon fulfilling their requests.
3. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work station according to 5S standards.
4. Ensure customer satisfaction through product availability, quality, service, and sanitary conditions.
5. Maintain an adequate presentation with a variety of cakes to meet customer needs.
6. Assist the Bakery Manager in maintaining 'Deco Pac' inventories, with physical counts conducted annually.
7. Maintain standards such as buttercream and seasonal colors daily.
8. Work with the bakery manager to manage production and shrink as per company guidelines.
9. Operate bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, and utensils.
10. May be asked to supervise the baker in the absence of the manager and first clerk.
11. Maintain high levels of customer courtesy and service.
12. Handle all customer special orders, such as cake orders.
13. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and sanitation regulations.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 6-12 months of related experience.
• Basic literacy and computer skills.
• Satisfactory performance reviews.
• Strong communication skills.
