Job description

This is a part-time position, 2 days a week. Experience in cake decorating is preferred. More hours available if willing to close deli in addition to cake decorating. This would require nights and weekends. Must be 18 and willing to take a drug test for this position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Cuts cakes to required sizes, mixes frostings, frosts and decorates cakes, cleans up work area, will also assist with customer service at the counter if needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Use hands, arms, and fingers to handle tools or operate equipment.
2. Work in a standing position from 4-8 hours a day.
3. Lift and handle ingredient bags and products.
4. Use basic math to measure and estimate material quantities.
5. Bake products to required specifications.
6. Keep work station clean and sanitary.
7. Take customer orders for special cakes, wedding cakes, special requests, etc.
