Job summary

Great American Cookies in Houma, LA is seeking a Part Time Cake Decorator/Shift Leader to craft cakes and cookies per customer specs and help drive store aesthetics and sales.

You'll decorate to templates or custom designs, assist guests, manage cash at the register, and work with the Store Manager to meet daily goals while upholding company standards and a fun, engaging customer experience.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of retail and/or food service management.
• 2-5 years of customer service.
• 1-2 years of cake decorating.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Attention to detail.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Decorate cookies and cakes with templates.
• Create custom designs based on customer specifications.
• Work with management to ensure orders are completed.
• Serve customers and create an exciting experience.
• Prepare ingredients for baking and decorating.
• Operate an oven and bake ingredients per standards.
• Ensure cleanliness of store and preparation areas.
• Coach and develop associates to meet goals.
• Operate a register and ensure money accountability.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to FRH GAC standards.
