Job summary

Aimcareers is hiring multiple part-time Food Service/Cafeteria Workers for local schools in Tempe, AZ. The positions run Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 1:00pm, with compensation at $15.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include food preparation, setup, cleanliness, and operating standard kitchen equipment. Required are a Food Handler's Card and AZ Fingerprint Card as part of school district requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler's Card.
• Arizona Fingerprint clearance may be required by school district.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine food preparation tasks, such as cutting up fruits and vegetables, making and wrapping sandwiches and salads.
• Set up and stock work areas with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
• Assist with daily cleaning duties in the cafeteria including cleaning equipment and work areas, mopping, operating dishwasher and/or scrubbing pots and pans.
• Cleaning up lines at the end of the meal shift, and putting away/disposing of leftovers.
• Safely operate standard and specialized kitchen equipment, including convection/combi ovens, microwave ovens, dishwashers, food warmers, coolers and freezers.
• Set up a serving line with appropriate serving equipment
• Clean work areas and dispose of garbage daily.
