Job summary

Pennridge School District is seeking a part-time Nutritional Services - General Cafeteria worker for the 10-month school year. You will assist with meal preparation, serving, dishwashing, cashiering, and general cafeteria cleaning under the Cafeteria Manager’s guidance.

Starting ASAP, this role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic arithmetic, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior food service experience is preferred, and pre-employment clearances are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Cash handling and basic math skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation and delivery following food service guidelines.
• Operate POS and handle transactions for meals.
• Perform dishwashing and general cafeteria cleaning.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in accordance with regulations.
• Support Cafeteria Manager to meet district goals.
