Job summary

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is hiring a part-time cafeteria assistant to support in cleaning and set-up of the cafeteria during lunches. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a pay rate of ${19}–${21} per hour.

Responsibilities include cleaning tables, sweeping and mopping, trash disposal, and maintaining sanitation practices. The role requires a High School diploma or GED and prior food service experience is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Prior food service or related field experience preferred.
• Follow safety and sanitation practices and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds (trash) required.
• Ability to work with a diversity of individuals.
• Working as part of a team.
• Available 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist in clean up of cafeteria space in preparation for each lunch (wash tables, sweep, mop as needed).
• Empty trash as needed, dispose of trash in outside dumpster as needed.
• Utilize at all times exemplary practices in sanitation and personal cleanliness.
• Perform such other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s)
