Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC's Miss J's Café is hiring part-time team members to provide top-notch customer service, prepare food and beverages, and maintain clean, safe dining and prep areas at the New Lisbon travel center.

Team members will handle orders, cash, and customer inquiries while upholding food safety standards and ensuring high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Walk-in interviews are encouraged on weekdays.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with a positive, friendly attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math for handling cash and processing payments.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and welcome them in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the system, and ensure customer needs are met.
• Assist customers in selecting menu items, offer suggestions, and answer questions about the menu.
• Ensure customers receive their orders promptly and with high quality service.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate to management when needed.
• Prepare food and beverages according to café standards, using grills, ovens, blenders, and toasters.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain proper food storage and sanitation per regulations.
• Process payments at the register, provide receipts, and balance the cash drawer.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and stocking, and help with deliveries and quality checks.
• Support opening/closing duties and restocking; maintain cleanliness throughout shift.
• Follow all policies, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
