Job summary

Ideal candidates have customer service or café experience, a friendly and punctual approach, and the ability to work in a busy environment. Certification in food handling may be required after hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or food service is preferred.
• Willing to learn beverage preparation, recipes, equipment, and payment systems.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25–30 pounds.
• Food Handler Certification required or must be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso drinks, brewed coffee, iced coffee, tea, and other beverages.
• Welcome customers, take orders, answer menu questions, and process payments.
• Keep the coffee bar, service counter, and customer areas clean and organized.
• Restock cups, lids, syrups, milk, coffee, and other supplies.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements.
• Complete opening and closing tasks and monitor inventory.
• Assist with light food preparation and pastry displays; work with Food Services team.
