Job summary

Willowick Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) to support residents with daily living activities in a long-term care setting. You will help ensure comfort, safety, and dignity, while documenting vital signs and care provided.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, mobility, monitoring vital signs, documenting in EMR, administering medications per protocols, and supporting residents with memory care needs.

Qualifications

• CBRF Certification or CNA certification required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in caregiving or CNA roles.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Monitor vital signs and document findings in EMR.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols.
• Support residents with memory care needs (Alzheimer's/dementia).
• Maintain a safe environment following infection control practices.

As a Caregiver / C.N.A., you will be the frontline supporter of resident well-being, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity every day. Schedule

• PM -2:00 pm - 10:30 pm


• NOC -10:00 pm - 6:30 am


• Monday - Friday


• Every other weekend


• Rotating Holidays

Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices


• Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; accurately document findings using EMR (Electronic Medical Records)


• Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols


• Support patients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care


• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control practices for infectious disease care and working within hospital or outpatient clinic settings

Experience

• CBRF Certifications


• Minimum of two years of experience
