SIMEDHealth in Gainesville, FL is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist (XRT) with expertise in C-Arm/Fluoroscopy to support Interventional Pain Management procedures. You will perform radiographic exams and assist physicians during procedures using advanced C-Arm technology.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, a general radiographer license, CPR certification, and ARRT certification is a plus, with 1–2 years of hospital experience and familiarity with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid general radiographer license.
• CPR certification.
• ARRT certification is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in a medical or hospital environment preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a practicing general radiographer.
• Familiarity with Intergy or other EMR systems is beneficial.
• A genuine commitment to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing patient information (consents, allergies, anticoagulants) prior to procedures.
• Loading patient data into the PACS system to ensure accurate documentation.
• Preparing sterile environments, medications, and ensuring patients are ready for procedures.
• Positioning patients for optimal imaging during interventional pain procedures.
• Demonstrating precise alignment of the C-Arm for clear imaging.
• Participating in time-out safety checks before each procedure.
• Applying appropriate wound dressings post-procedure.
• Monitoring patient stability after procedures before mobilization.
• Assisting patients with transfers and fall precautions.
• Transporting patients to the recovery area and informing monitoring staff.
• Maintaining organized procedure rooms and stock levels.
• Following autoclave, biohazard disposal, and clinical laundry protocols.
• Monitoring radiofrequency treatments as required.
• Adapting to various physicians’ techniques and staying flexible.
• Assisting in other clinic areas to achieve team goals.
