Job summary

Cicis in Gastonia, NC is seeking a friendly Busser to support the dining team. You will clear tables, restock supplies, and ensure a clean, welcoming dining area.

You must be 16 or older, capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, and flexible to evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided with no prior experience required.

This is a non-exempt, part-time position offering opportunities to grow with Cicis.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clear Tables: Remove dirty plates, cups, and trash from tables as soon as guests leave.
• Beverage station: Assist in keeping the station clean and stocked.
• Sanitize Surfaces: Wipe down tabletops, seats, and booster chairs with safe cleaning spray.
• Restock Stations: Keep the customer stations filled with clean plates, cups, forks, napkins, and toppings or shakers.
• Keep Floors Clean: Sweep up fallen food and wipe up drink spills right away to stop slips.
• Empty Trash: Take full trash bags out to the dumpster and put in new liners.
• Help Guests: Smile and answer basic guest questions or find a manager if they need help.
