Job summary

Columbus Technical College is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor for Business Management. The instructor will prepare lesson plans, evaluate student progress, recruit and retain students, and teach day, night, evening, and online classes as needed.

Responsibilities include delivering effective instruction, selecting materials, maintaining syllabi consistency, and supporting recruitment and marketing activities. The role may involve some travel and off-campus teaching within the service area.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business management with 18 graduate semester hours or 27 graduate quarter hours in Business Management.
• Master’s degree in related field with 18 graduate semester hours or 27 graduate quarter hours in Business Management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Delivers effective individualized program and instruction to class members.
• Ensures adherence to college safety requirements in classrooms and labs by following procedures.
• Selects and obtains appropriate educational materials for courses.
• Ensures consistency in syllabi, lesson plans, tests, and other course work.
