Job summary

Husson University’s College of Business is seeking to compile a pool of qualified candidates interested in future part‑time teaching opportunities in accounting and business. Assignments may require teaching online, day or evening classes as needed.

Applications are reviewed as instructional needs arise and assignments depend on enrollment, program needs, and scheduling. This is a pool for future opportunities in the School of Business & Management.

Qualifications

• Education: An earned Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field is required; Ph.D. preferred.
• Experience: Successful teaching experience at the college level preferred. Demonstrated dedication to improving classroom teaching, exploring new methods, and adapting to student needs.
• Demonstrated ability to work well as a part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Teaching courses in the fall, spring, and/or summer semesters in the School of Business & Management.
• Assisting and supporting students beyond the classroom by holding regular or virtual office hours as needed.
• Working collegially with other faculty in the area to develop and use common syllabi, course materials, and assessment methods.
• Using instructional technology, especially the Canvas LMS, Husson G‑Suite applications, and the faculty portal.
• Assessing and reporting student performance.

Education

Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field

Ph.D. preferred
