Liberty Lines is seeking a Part Time Bus Operator to transport passengers safely on predetermined routes in Valhalla, NY. The role emphasizes professional customer service and strict adherence to transit regulations.

Ideal candidates hold a CDL with passenger and airbrake endorsements, have at least 5 years of driving experience, and can pass a DOT physical. Flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, are required in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must have and maintain an excellent CDL class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsements and 19A compliance.
• Must have 5 years of driving experience.
• Must pass a DOT physical examination.
• Must operate a bus safely in all weather conditions.
• Must complete the Bus Operator Training Program.
• Must be able to work varied hours including weekends and overtime.

Responsabilités

• Transport passengers safely following predetermined routes and detours.
• Ensure proper pickup and drop-off at designated bus stops.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• Maintain safe driving practices to minimize accidents.
• Inform the company of on-the-road occurrences promptly.
• Document faulty equipment when operating the vehicle.
