Job summary

Transdev in El Cajon, CA is hiring Bus Drivers to ensure safe, reliable transportation. You will operate routes following safety protocols, assist passengers, and perform vehicle inspections to maintain high standards of service.

Roles include day/evening/weekend shifts; compensation includes pay progression up to $29.00/hr with full-time training for CDL and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with passenger and airbrake endorsements.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Ability to obtain CDL.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Availability to work day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical per applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safety-focused operations: follow routes and schedules with proper safety protocols.
• Passenger care: assist passengers, ensure smooth boarding and disembarkation.
• Vehicle vigilance: pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance needs.
• Adherence to protocols: enforce seat belts, emergency readiness, regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required.
