Job summary

Midwest Transit Equipment in Swansea, IL is seeking a Part-Time Bus Delivery Driver to join our delivery team and help ensure on-time, accurate deliveries to customers.

The role offers flexible seasonal hours, with 20–40 hours per week in the off-season and 40+ hours during the busy summer season (May–Sept).

You will represent the company professionally, comply with DOT regulations, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and assist with parts delivery as needed.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record required.
• Valid Class B license with Passenger, School Bus, and Air-Brake endorsement.
• Must comply with Department of Transportation standards.
• Drives bus following established safety procedures.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and fuel the bus as needed.
• Prepare and maintain records per DOT standards.
• Assist with Parts Delivery as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver buses to customers accurately and on time, while maintaining safety and professionalism.
• Represent Midwest Transit Equipment in a courteous and compliant manner.
• Support parts delivery as needed to keep customers satisfied.
