Job summary

Midwest Transit Equipment in Swansea, IL is seeking a Part-Time Bus Delivery Driver to join our delivery team and help ensure on-time, accurate deliveries to customers.

The role offers flexible seasonal hours, with 20–40 hours per week in the off-season and 40+ hours during the busy summer season (May–Sept).

You will represent the company professionally, comply with DOT regulations, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and assist with parts delivery as needed.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record required.
• Valid Class B license with Passenger, School Bus, and Air-Brake endorsement.
• Must comply with Department of Transportation standards.
• Drives bus following established safety procedures.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and fuel the bus as needed.
• Prepare and maintain records per DOT standards.
• Assist with Parts Delivery as needed.

Description

The delivery driver will work with other members of the Midwest Transit Equipment delivery team to increase customer satisfaction by safely delivering complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to the company’s customers. The driver will represent the company in a highly professional, safe and cost effective manner that complies with DOT and other applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Clean driving record
