Legends Global is seeking a Part-time Building Security Guard for the Peoria Civic Center. The role involves controlling access, patrolling the facility and grounds, and ensuring safety during events. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with benefits including Paid Leave, flexible schedules, and a 401k.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, fluent English, and the ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. A background check may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate clearly.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation.
• A background check may be required by LEGENDS GLOBAL.

Responsibilities

• Patrol facilities as scheduled; respond to requests and emergencies as per policies.
• Unlock/lock doors before and after events; secure facility when unoccupied.
• Verify visitor authorization to access the facility.
• Complete required daily reports and assist visitors/employees as needed.
• Maintain lost and found and perform alcohol ID checks during events.
• Inspect fire extinguishers and sprinklers; log vehicle use and parking violations.
• Coordinate with security and operations teams as needed.
