Job summary

Piedmont Technical College seeks adjunct faculty to teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and at six county centers across Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick. Opportunities may include daytime or evening classes, online instruction, and dual credit courses offered at local high schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline is required.
• Associate’s degree with demonstrated competencies in building construction may be acceptable.
• Licensing in Residential Builder or General Contractor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach a diverse student body at multiple locations following established syllabi.
• Utilize instructional technology and a variety of teaching methods.
• Plan, manage and deliver course instruction and ensure EPA/OSHA compliance.
• Participate in college functions and support program and college improvements.
