Job summary

Bud & Rita's is seeking a part-time cashier or Budtender in Chicago to greet patients, assist with orders, and complete sales at the register with attention to detail.

You will handle cash and card transactions, maintain inventory and closing numbers, and ensure compliance with state regulations. Candidates should have POS experience and strong customer service.

Evenings, weekends, and holidays availability required; background check must be passed; 21+ with valid ID.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of sales or POS experience.
• Proficient with tablets and computers.
• Must pass a federal background check.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid license or state ID.
• Available to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on sales floor and verify purchases.
• Maintain current knowledge of the dispensary flow and products.
• Complete cash or card sales and issue receipts.
• Maintain accuracy for all cash and credit transactions.
• Answer phones and direct calls to the proper person.
• Assist with online product reservations.
• Keep the dispensary floor clean and sanitized.
• Follow all state and federal regulations including IDFPR.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Part Time hours. Must be available evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

The Cashier or \"Budtender\" greets patients on the sales floor and/or at checkout, assists with placing orders on the sales floor and at the register. Confirms products purchased, completes the sale via cash or card with an unambiguous attention to detail. The Agent is to provide excellent care and customer service for all patients and/or adult use customers.

Responsibilities:
