Job summary

Nicolet College is seeking a part-time Adjunct Faculty member to provide instruction for the Broadband Service Technician Apprenticeship program. Instructors may teach at multiple sites across the Nicolet College District, including campuses, centers, and business locations.

This role reports to the Associate Vice-President of Academic Affairs and connects classroom, laboratory, and field-based learning with current industry practices and workforce expectations.

Qualifications

• Completion of a registered apprenticeship with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards, OR with a federally registered apprenticeship program, AND two years (4,000 hours) of related work experience.
• Two years of related work experience within the past five years; one year (2,000 hours) may be substituted by two years of teaching experience in a related area at an accredited college.

• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student records.
• Utilize instructional technology and learning management systems effectively.
• Participate in curriculum improvement and program development initiatives as needed.
• Maintain current industry knowledge, licensure, and professional certifications.
• Support workforce and community education initiatives when opportunities arise.
