Job summary

Carter's is seeking a Part Time Sales Manager in California to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll greet new parents and grandparents, introduce our baby essentials, and help prep for the first day of school.

You’ll foster a welcoming, inclusive environment and coach the team on product styles, features, and benefits. As a leader on duty, you will drive results, coach others, and ensure a safe, omni-channel shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service and sales in retail.
• Ability to lead a team and coach others.
• Proficient in basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Become a product and brand expert to help families navigate moments from preemie to size 14.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow through.
• Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns timely and with an appropriate resolution.
• Utilize customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity to implement actions to drive results.
