Carter’s Inc. is seeking a Part Time Sales Manager to be the first face of our brand for growing families in Covington, LA. You will greet customers, explain product features, and ensure a warm, inclusive, high-energy environment on the sales floor.

As a leader, you’ll coach team members, drive a positive customer experience, and execute business plans with attention to detail. We offer growth through training and development programs and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Stand or walk for extended periods; climb ladders.
• Availability including days, nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Become product and brand expert for Carter's brands to help families from preemie to size 14.
• Welcome customers with warm greeting and explain product features and benefits.
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Model service standards and omni-channel experience while coaching others.
• Lead and execute an assigned business focus area with planning and follow-through.
• Perform Leader on Duty duties by driving results and handling customer concerns promptly.
• Use customer feedback to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
• Build customer loyalty through company programs, including credit offerings.
• Provide timely feedback to store team and raise performance concerns to Store Manager.
• Reward exceptional performance with positive reinforcement and appreciation.
• Support store team with Asset Protection through customer service, safety, and controls.
