Carter’s is seeking a Part Time Sales Manager to be the first face of the brand for families. You will welcome customers, coach the team, and lead an assigned business focus area with planning and follow-through.

You’ll drive omni-channel service, foster inclusivity, and contribute to a positive culture. Availability includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled with a 30% employee discount and other benefits.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Positive and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, Web navigation).

Responsibilities

• Become a product and brand expert to help families navigate product styles.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance.
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Foster a positive, safe and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Lead and execute an assigned business focus area with planning and follow through.
• Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities and address customer concerns.
• Utilize customer feedback to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Build customer loyalty through company programs, including credit.
• Provide timely feedback to the store team and raise performance concerns.
• Recognize exceptional performance and show appreciation.
• Support asset protection with safety and operational controls.
