Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is hiring a Branch Sales Associate in Canton, OH to connect with walk-in customers and maximize sales while performing warehouse tasks. You will balance product selection, order entry, and safe loading of customer vehicles with a customer-first mindset.

You will also navigate multiple computer systems, assist with merchandising, and maintain branch standards while following safety guidelines and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work any time within branch hours of operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier with assistance.
• Learn and operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience including product selection and accurate order entry.
• Look for opportunities to maximize sales and encourage loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in person.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders and shipping products.
• Prepare backorders and stock received.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Conduct inventory counts.
• Navigate multiple computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Perform housekeeping to meet Grainger standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
