Carrier Enterprise is seeking a Part-Time Branch Sales Associate for our Mandeville, LA location to deliver excellent customer service, product guidance, and sales support to HVAC/R professionals visiting the branch.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC/R products, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will process orders, manage inventory, assist with forklift tasks, and participate in bonus incentives and growth opportunities toward full-time employment.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the HVAC/R industry or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R products, equipment, and components.

• May need to operate a forklift; prior forklift certification preferred.

• Greet customers and provide expert advice, product information, and recommendations to help them find the right HVAC/R products and supplies for their needs.
• Accurately process customer orders, ensuring all requested items are available, properly priced, and invoiced correctly.
• Maintain a deep understanding of HVAC/R product inventory, including specifications, compatibility, and pricing.
• Monitor and replenish floor stock, conduct regular inventory counts, and report discrepancies to the Branch Manager.
• Assist customers in troubleshooting and finding solutions to technical issues related to HVAC/R equipment and components.
• Promote sales initiatives and special offers while identifying opportunities to upsell products when appropriate.
• Provide warehouse operations support, including receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming merchandise.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock replenishment, and product organization.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, organized counter and warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
