Job summary

The Branson School in Ross, CA seeks a part-time, seasonal Boys Varsity Lacrosse Assistant Coach to support the head coach, conduct practices, motivate players, and teach game strategies. The role requires travel and weekend/evening work.

Responsibilities include coordinating practices, ensuring safety and compliance with school and league rules, maintaining equipment, and handling administrative tasks with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred).
• 1–2 years of lacrosse coaching experience.
• CPR certification through American Red Cross.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and pass Branson's required driving/background clearance to transport students.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the Boys Varsity Lacrosse program.
• Ensure Branson and league policies are followed.
• Plan and organize practices and game schedules with the Head Coach and Athletic Department.
• Maintain a safe environment for student athletes at all times.
• Ensure proper supervision of student athletes at home and away games.
• Enforce training rules, class/grade requirements, and behavior policies.
• Represent Branson professionally in the community.
• Maintain equipment, uniforms, and inventory.
• Keep Paycom timecards and records up to date.
• Attend practices and games on schedule.
• Obtain approvals for team expenditures.
