Qualifications

• KRS 160.445 Heat Related Emergency Training.
• Criminal records check.
• Concussion training.
• KHSAA Sports Safety Course.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach in planning the athletic program.
• Assist in organizing and supervising practices.
• Teach fundamental skills, team strategy and rules.
• Promote sports in school and community.
• Model good sportsmanship and self-control.
• Check participant eligibility, insurance and parent consent.
• Provide guidance and emotional support to student athletes.
• Conduct learning experiences with small groups of student athletes.
• Recommend equipment and uniforms as appropriate for safety and welfare.
