Job summary

Frette is seeking a part-time Sales Assistant for our boutique at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA. The role balances back-of-house and front-of-house duties, focusing on inventory control, client experience, and maintenance to support a premium shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail store environment, including front and back-of-house preferred.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Flexible to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with retail operating systems including shipping, POS, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Control ownership including cycle counts, adjustments, discrepancies, and reporting.
• Execute transfers, damages, fulfillments and holds to maintain inventory accuracy and product flow.
• Maximize storage, manage front-of-house, back-of-house and offsite storage locations.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to prioritize customer sales and maintain inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with Loss Prevention, Inventory Control, Boutique Maintenance, and POS policies.
• Train staff on BOH procedures and policy changes across the store team.
• Maintain stockroom, perform stock checks, and handle product shipping and receiving.
