Base pay range

$21.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Additional compensation types

Annual Bonus

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Schedule: Part-time, 15–25 hours/week (with potential to grow into full-time)

Pay Range: $21–$25/hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

Miplly Accounting is a boutique, fast-growing accounting and business management firm that supports modern entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small business owners. We go beyond traditional bookkeeping—we help our clients grow by providing strategic guidance, streamlined financial systems, and expert tax and compliance support.

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate is reliable, communicative, and ready to contribute to a growing team in a structured but flexible environment. While we don’t micromanage, we do require a consistent, agreed-upon daily work schedule to ensure tasks are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and categorize financial transactions across multiple platforms (QuickBooks Online, Agilink, etc.)
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Assist with payroll processing and filings (Gusto or similar)
  • Maintain accurate digital filing systems and documentation
  • Support tax filing prep and 1099 processing
  • Handle client and vendor communication to resolve bookkeeping issues
  • Clean up or set up new accounts as needed
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (multi-client or firm experience is a plus)
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
  • Ability to follow a set schedule daily, even in a remote environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
  • Comfortable communicating with clients and team members via email and Zoom
