Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets in Bar Harbor, ME is seeking a Front End associate to provide outstanding, friendly customer service while maintaining frontline standards and supporting store leadership.

You will assist in training other associates, perform cashier/service desk functions, handle deposits and cash handling per policy, and help ensure safety and cleanliness in accordance with state and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding, friendly customer service.
• Maintain communication with department/store leadership and stay up to date on the Office Communication Board.
• Understand Front End standard practices.
• Assist in training other associates when assigned and certified.
• Observe and follow all company policies and established procedures.
• Prepare and verify all bank deposit amounts and change orders in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
