Job summary

The American Red Cross in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a driver to operate the agency vehicle, pick up and deliver blood products and lightweight materials, and store items per route and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean DMV record.
• Previous experience with a messenger service or trucking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle for delivery of blood products and materials safely and legally.
• Prepare for deliveries by verifying orders, loading, and maintaining inventory.
• Document storage and transport of blood products per regulations.
• Provide customer service with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Maintain vehicle condition and assist with shipping/receiving as directed.
