Job summary

DelMonte Hotel Group is seeking a friendly Bistro Attendant at our Albany, NY location to serve food and beverages with a smile. This part-time role focuses on guest satisfaction and smooth cafe operations in a busy hotel Bistro.

You will assist with setup, take orders, prepare coffee and Bistro items, handle cash, and maintain cleanliness and safety across shifts. Training and tips are included as part of our welcoming hospitality culture.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 months related experience; High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Exceptional customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Serve food and/or beverages to customers.
• Assist in the set-up and closing of the Bistro using the provided checklists.
• Input orders into cash register and secure accurate payment.
• Prepare and serve Bistro fare and beverages; breakfast items using Turbo Chef.
• Prepare coffee drinks by brewing espresso and steaming milk.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies.
• Complete daily inventory prep sheet.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Bistro and surrounding areas.
• Bussing and sidework responsibilities.
• Wash dishes and serving utensils as needed.
• Stock and replenish inventory displays for guest purchase.
• Assist in the set-up and servicing of the meeting room.
• Provide safe transportation to guests using the hotel shuttle.
