Job summary

The University of Providence invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Biology at our campus in Great Falls, Montana to teach undergraduate biology courses as assigned. Teaching opportunities may include Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, General Biology, and other courses aligned with the candidate's academic preparation and expertise.

Candidates with experience and/or expertise in Forensic Science or Chemistry are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Biology or a closely related field is required.
• Doctorate in Biology or a related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned undergraduate Biology courses in accordance with departmental and University standards.
• Prepare and deliver course materials, lectures, laboratory activities, and assessments.
• Maintain accurate student records and submit grades according to established University policies and deadlines.
• Hold reasonable office hours or be available to students by appointment.
• Foster an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with department leadership regarding course needs and student success.
• Adhere to University policies, procedures, and academic standards.
