Job summary

Autism Learning Partners in California is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to support children and teens with autism in their homes or at our centers. Sessions are scheduled on weekday evenings within the 3:30pm–8pm window, with travel to client homes and occasional center sessions.

You’ll be trained to help kids learn through play and track progress with families. This role offers paid training, daily pay access, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for growth within a locally

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
• Willingness to pass background and health checks

Responsibilities

• Help Kids Learn Through Play: Teach children new skills like communication, sharing, or following directions — often through fun games or activities.
• Be a Positive Role Model: Encourage progress and celebrate small victories every day.
• Stay Active: You’ll be moving around, playing, and engaging throughout your sessions.
• Keep Things Organized: Track what you worked on and how your kiddo did (we’ll train you on this too).
• Support Families: Be part of a team that helps families see real progress and hope.
